Warranty
Industry-leading 2-Year Warranty (Return-to-Base)
Every Re-Macs refurbished Mac comes with a 2-Year Return-to-Base Hardware Warranty for genuine hardware faults. It’s included as standard, so you can buy with confidence and use your Mac as intended.
If something isn’t right, our technicians are here to help — and if it needs workshop attention, we’ll guide you through a simple return process.
What this warranty covers
Your 2-year warranty covers hardware faults that occur during normal use, including (for example):
-
Mac won’t power on
-
Keyboard keys not working correctly
-
Display issues (e.g. flickering)
-
Trackpad/ports/audio faults caused by an internal hardware issue
-
Hardware faults with included accessories supplied with your Mac (where applicable)
Return-to-base means the Mac is returned to Re-Macs for assessment and we will repair or replace the device where the fault is confirmed and covered.
What isn’t covered
To keep things fair and clear, the warranty doesn’t cover issues caused by damage, misuse, or changes made outside of Re-Macs.
Not covered under warranty
-
Accidental damage (drops, cracks, dents from impact, liquid spills, pressure damage)
-
User abuse, neglect, or misuse (including improper storage/handling)
-
Unauthorised repairs or tampering (repairs attempted by a third party)
-
Modifications or upgrades (e.g. RAM/SSD/HDD changes) carried out after purchase
-
Cosmetic wear & tear (scratches/scuffs/marks) and general deterioration with use
-
Battery wear and normal battery degradation over time
-
Software conflicts caused by user-installed applications, malware, or changes to settings
-
Any issues caused by using the Mac outside normal operating conditions (e.g. unsuitable chargers, power issues, peripherals causing damage)
If you’re ever unsure whether something is covered, contact us first — we’ll tell you straight and help you get the quickest outcome.
